We know that as mothers
We have many moments of sadness
To love badness and madness.

We lose our daughters to a land
with a lake monster called Ness
Yes, looking at you Jess.

We know that as mothers
Well, the priviledge is well known
A badge worn and shown.

We can fall to make space for others
We stand back, no smothers
Yes, pain, it bothers.

We turn our emotions to rhyme
To while the time
That’s no crime.

We share their updates with glee
As their looks turn to plea.
We know that as mothers.
