It has been an unsettled night of sweats, tummy grumbles and fog. On waking, one eye pops open and notices a feint fog in the distance. The mind seems so detatched it hasn’t appreciated the fog is caused of its own doing.

Determination and responsibilities see me rise but as the morning kicks in, so does the nausea and eye shakes, the blurring.

The head pain increases.

Considerations for regular pain relief happens but after the expected wait time, its administration seems pointless as the headache has merely increased along with the stomach gurgles, nausea and fog. The fog now feels like a pain wrapped around my face, dragging my skin into my neck, slowly seeping down.

My only choice is to rest. Dark room, calming tea, salty crackers and feet up.

Peace.
