Butterflies are important economically as agents of pollination. Culturally, butterflies are a popular motif in the visual and literary arts.

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.  ~Maya Angelou”

“If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies…”- author unknown

The Ancient Greek word for “butterfly” is ψυχή (psȳchē), which primarily means “soul”, “mind”.

“How does one become a butterfly?” she asked. “You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.”

Social media can be said to have three components;

1. Concept (art, information, or meme).
2. Media (physical, electronic, or verbal).
3. Social interface (intimate direct, community engagement, social viral, electronic broadcast or syndication, or other physical media such as print).

Social media can take many different forms, including Internet forums, weblogs, social blogs, wikis, podcasts, pictures, video, rating and social bookmarking.
