That moment in life you realise you’re awkward
It’s fleeting but powerful.
Wanting hello
Giving goodbye
Wishing to know.

That second when a look at poor life choices
To follow your heart then part.
Wishing no pain
Getting restrain
Wanting to go.

That minute of silence before the decision
Did it stay or do you go.
Waving to play
Gaining a day
Waning or so.

Those years when nothing went right
Not even for a moment.
We just need to let it go
Or so I am told.
