My christmas poem is due
It’s time to bid ’24 adieu
A lovely end to the year
getting into second gear
Knee bent at pew anew

With faith we carry forward
Arm stretched with sword
To tackle all without fear
Happily living with no tear
Sweet music strikes a chord

To those by my side
Who swim with me in tide
You reduce my daily stress
And for this I am truly blessed
I have felt your arms wide

With me in spirit
Mum Dad Wade, you know it
Like teardrops caught in crystal
Peace comes with a bullet from pistol
The pain remains legit

Life and longevity forever here
For those I hold very dear
Peace love and light
You are in my sight
For a very happy new year.

Much love to you xx
