Welcome officially to Winter and the second half of the year. I thought I would take this moment to pause and accept that I live in a city full of contradictions, diversity and elements of change. I guess that is one constant. The ying yang of the world.

What do I mean by this? Well, that has me stumbling!! But, I do know we are surrounded by good and bad, light and dark, cold and wet. No wait, that should be hot and wet (eeek, what am I thinking?)

For the 1st July the sun shone. For the 2nd July the skies opened!

For the 1st July we learnt its not who we meet, but where we go (thankyou Suzuki). For the 2nd July (after watching Kung-Fu Panda) we learnt, its not what we were, but what we are to become.

For the 1st July we believed in the universe. For the 2nd July we believed in our friends. #hearttime
