crisp clean skies and wonderous eyes

my world seems endless without the sighs

foundations abound the children sound

colours of night with day i have found

true being still beside me

overjoyed with wonder

forever a day i look around

do we ever stand still in this life

or do we just go from strife to strife?

with christmas near at least we cheer

and shed a tear as kids disappear

but alas new days bring hope

each step an elephant chunk

lifes complexities sunk

lets lead the cheer and have a beer

to all my friends who are so dear

merry christmas and happy new year.
