CHARLIE-HELEN ROBINSON ON-AIR; ADELAIDE DRIVE TIME
With Michael Smyth.
For online listeners; here’s my MP3 ABC Radio Segment Collection
October is like “Mad March” for the aged care industry in South Australia – there is the COTA Every Generation Festival, the Australian Masters Games and a whole raft of conferences you can get along to. I thought I’d share some age appropriate “hashtags”.
#BetterWithAge (no, not cheese)
Social media, who’s doing it best?
There’s also lots of awards going on… and they all now involve social media. Either by engaging with them – or actually rewarding the efforts. Stark contrast to if we looked back 5 years ago.
Aside from the Social Media Strategy category being included in the inaugural Asia-Pacific Communications Awards
CBRE, Coca-Cola and Iinet have been shortlisted.
Iinet’s Pet-Fi was an April Fools’ Day prank which received 1.2 million social media impressions & drove more than 190,000 website visits.
Who else is doing it well?
- Twitter = James Blunt – the original come back
- Politics Hilary for Tumblr sendups and Obama doing the James Blunt come backs – but especially good on YouTube
- Facebook Humans of New York, Dove and Oreo
And then there’s the Streamys…
Honouring the best in online video and the creators behind it. Going 5 years, this year was the first ever live broadcast add they have introduced some interesting categories.
