A wonderful evening of laughter and yummy wines with good food.
We dusted off our corkscrews (remember those?) as it was time for another DeadRed wine group event! Our birthday girl Litsa, provided the slow cooked leg of lamb and roast vegetables to fuel the evening’s fun. The bottles of red were at least *15* years old – which makes it “a vintage of vintages”.
Whether crusty, dusty, musty, or lusty, they were tasted and scored justly!
All final bottles were lined up as being good contenders, however, The Peacock won. It was brought by Deb. It was delightful. Beautifully aged, yummy.
Winner for best #deadred came down to the quirky label; a bottle brought by Sonia.
In true tradition we raised money with $163 went to Uniting Care Wesley for their mental health programs (as per letter).
Our Videographer, Stephen Mitchell Video Playlist.
He said, “I have been photographing these events for about 10 years, but due to parenting duties this is the first I have attended since 2011!”
