My story isn’t over, where are you at?
Mine’s not a TV commercial, nor an ad.
I need to drive momentum, not a fad.
But it comes in waves and chapters,
Some good, that’s a fact.
Chopped short here, too long there.
A fine balance is needed, it’s in the air.
What’s the line he’s been sharing?
Oh yes, trust me, you’ve been had.
Con artists be gone.
Go join another fad.
Now, for those who stuck around,
You see the smile returning.
Thank you for being here.
A flame is burning.
But don’t dilly-dally now.
I’m on the upward turn.
We meet for a reason or season,
Or to please and squirm.
My life isn’t over yet, and I’m not in a rage.
But if you throw caution to the wind,
Simply turn the page.
Fun and games in reason,
Sure… hmmm, okay.
A foolish heart is always dreaming,
Too many ifs and whens make me go screaming.
The head took over and won in the end
And that’s what I’ll say.
But look, it’s not all doom and gloom.
I’m really very happy.
In fact, inside I’m beaming.
The heart gets wiser, or so they say,
Though mine still wanders anyway.
There’s mischief in my grin,
Charlie chaos, love, and passion.
Simply glad I get to share my story,
Live my life again, still dreaming.
A draft. In progress. Life, that is.

Charlie would love to start the conversation with you…
