#quickthought

Unpopular opinion regarding AI, is one where joy and support play a role. I’ve seen how effectively it can support my work.

It can take a hand drawn note and summarise the contents. It can look at that summary and then offer suggested gaps and structure for me to consider. After editing and commenting, it can then turn those ideas into an Executive Summary draft that I then baseline my thoughts against (because I already know the outcome from my hand drawn notes and comments remember).

It can’t come up with the original idea, or understand (from 30 years experience) where I want to take it. Or provide the actions ie do the work.

On a GreyMatter front, it can take my draft news article (not interview story) and tighten my grammer or take a contributors article to write an Editors Note. It frees my time to focus on the human interaction, contribution and thinking.

It also can’t write the poetry that streams from my brain in it’s unpolished haphazard way.

Sure, it’s learning.
I say, ‘eat my dust’.

What say you?
