The Unearthing Wine Group has been socially active since 2007, hosting events such as dinners, tastings, wine walks, bus tours and more. Our social group of (generally) 40-75 year olds are socially responsible and well known for their generosity and compassion – ensuring each event embraces a “pay back theme”. During our 12 years, the social group has participated in many external charity events and fundraisers such as; the Cancer Council’s Relay for Life and Variety as well as raising money for the Heart Foundation and Uniting Care Wesley’s Chat’n’Chew program.

On our own, the social club raised well over $5000 for Uniting Care Wesley Program in 2018 and in 2019 we raised awareness and $3500 EACH for both MOSH (Minimalisation of Suicide Harm) and the Community Food Program in Port Adelaide.

In January 2020, we hosted a Bushfire Fundraiser and raised over $6500 for MOSH Australia in support of their work to assist with the mental health recovery of our entire community post bushfires.

MOSH is working towards providing the wider community with the tools to help each other, so they don’t get caught in the mental health system and know where to go for help if they need it.

Today, we seek donations suitable for a raffle or silent auction to share at the 2020 Vintage Ball.

In return, you will receive much social media love, shares, and prominence across the Facebook group of over 600 winelovers, and on Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Our social members are loyal – and will continue to seek out your brand to back and buy. It’s how we thank you for your donation.
