Let’s face it, parts of 2014 were not so flash. Others were fab.

Certainly work life started to improve after a couple of mis-fires early on. I got a gig on Michael Smyth’s 891 Adelaide Drive show thanks to Richard aka Adelaide Tech Guy, kicked off a microvolunteering pilot for the ACH Group and ramped up my social appearances with the #frozenbeerco launch being my favourite (it’s nice to get out and about – I haven’t been able to for a few years due to work restrictions). I hit the decks running when I started part-time at Carer Support and have won over the exec and board introducing a better online presence (website and social medias) and streamlining their communication messages. Have to say I do love a good Not-For-Profit. I was invited to publish articles for LinkedIn’s Pulse and my personal website has seen some very impressive stats overall with my articles. I got focused. I ran for but didn’t get a position on the City of Charles Sturt Council. And my oh my I learnt a lot during that process. My results were fabulous for a first timer “up against it”.

But it’s not all about me. I’ve been proud to see some very healthy business growth, development and stats for personal clients and friends.

I’m looking forward to 2015.

I’m going to hit the streets with another of my unique wine events. Come Friday February 13th 2015 at the Hotel Royal, I will be “Unearthing a Dead One”. You may, or may not know that I’ve run a wine group since 2007. The event side of things has been on the back burner for a few years but it’s “time”. I’ve created a new style of wine tasting / judging game that I will be launching on the night. If you are interested, let me know.

We are also going to introduce a new style of pub crawl. Yes, you heard it here first. Stay tuned for a “Tasty Wine Walk”. We will be walking the talk with wine (hahaha #catchy huh?).

And of course, I’ll be continuing my consultancy work.
